Speech Title: Security and privacy in the Future Internet

Abstract: Future Internet and the next 5G wireless generation, enabling technologies for the Internet of Things, require even more accurate and efficient solutions to the security and privacy issues for future users. Recently significant advances have been achieved, in particular with the new UE GDPR regulation about privacy in force since May 2018. GDPR forces service providers to guarantee user privacy. However, an ultimate solution to the user privacy could come from new technical approaches that would give users complete control of their data. Some research projects on these new frontiers will be discussed.
